The four concentric circles (or rings) contain the dignities of the metaphysical chart, but the rings are ordered so that the rulership ring (Being and Life) is the innermost, followed by the exaltation ring (Intellect), then the detriment ring (Nature and Soul), and ending with the fall ring (Body) as the outermost ring.
