The topmost row of planets is the rulerships and exaltations of the third quadrant. The next row down is the dignities of house 9. The next row is the dignities of house 10, beginning with Saturn in Capricorn; below these are the dignities of house 11, beginning with Saturn in Aquarius; and below these the dignities of house 12, beginning with Jupiter in Pisces.

To the left of these last three rows, going down, are the rulerships of houses 7-9.

To the right of the Sun in Aquarius (detriment) are planets in the detriment ring, beginning with Saturn in Leo and ending with Moon in Capricorn (reading right to left), which represent the powers of the unembodied soul. The dignities of houses 10-12 (the fourth quadrant) are bracketed with the label “Saturn in Aries,” indicating that the latter is the underlie of the fourth quadrant.
