The vesica has the dignities of houses 9-12 distributed so that the house-9 dignities are in the first quadrant, the house-10 dignities are in the second quadrant, the house-11 dignities are in the third quadrant, and the house-12 dignities are in the fourth quadrant of the vesica (but Venus is not displayed). Damiani sometimes refers to this configuration of dignities as the “Jupiter ring” or “Demiurgic Intellect ring.”

The circle that occupies houses 9-12 is divided into twelve houses, and each of the twelve mundane, or cosmic, gods of the Orphic theogony is associated with one of its houses. Also, this circle displays the planets in fall (Body), beginning with Saturn in Aries.
