Idea of Man

The seven rings inside the circle represent the seven planetary spheres from Saturn to the Moon, listed in the order as seen from the Earth—that is, from a geocentric perspective. The planets outside the circle are the dignities in houses 5-8, with the dignities of each house distributed across a quadrant in the following order: rulership, exaltation, and detriment and fall together (the Venus outside house 5 seems to be a mistake; it should be Mercury in Virgo).
