The One

In the upper left are the four dignities in house 1. Below Mars are the other signs in which it’s in dignity (the Mars henad), in the order rulership, exaltation, detriment, and fall. Below the Sun are other signs in which it’s in dignity (the Sun henad). Below Venus is Virgo, the sign in which it is in fall.

In the lower left are the dignities in the first quadrant (the Triad). To the left of each rulership are the other signs in which it’s in dignity, in the order rulership, exaltation, detriment, and fall (reading from right to left). These are the henads of Mars, Venus, and Mercury.

Below each of the first three dignities in house 1 are suspended the dignities of houses 2 and 3 that are in the same ring (for example, Venus and Mercury, the rulerships of houses 2 and 3, are suspended from Mars, the rulership in house 1).

In the lower right are the dignities in the first quadrant (the Triad), with the rulerships labeled “Being”; the exaltations, “Int” (Intellect); and the detriments in houses 1-2, “Nature” and in house 3, “Soul.”
