Henads and Monads

At the top are Mars and Venus, the rulerships of houses 1 and 2. Below each are the signs in which it is in detriment (Nature) and fall.

Below them are the planets in dignity in the first quadrant (the Triad), grouped by those in rulership, exaltation, detriment, and fall. They are also grouped into seven groups, labeled “One,” “Being,” “Life,” “Intellect,” “Nature,” “Soul,” and “Body.”

Below each of the three rulerships (labeled “One”) are the other signs in which it’s in dignity, in the order rulership, exaltation, detriment, and fall. These are the henads of Mars, Venus, and Mercury.

Below the Sun in Aries are the planets in the rulership ring designated as “Being”; this is the monad of Being. Below the Moon in Taurus are the planets in the rulership ring designated as “Life”; this is the monad of Life. Below the Dragon’s Head are the planets in the exaltation ring (excluding those in houses 1-2); this is the monad of Intellect. Below Venus in Aries and Mars in Taurus are the rest of the planets in the detriment ring designated as “Nature”; this is the monad of Nature. Below Jupiter in Gemini are the planets in the detriment ring designated as “Soul”; this is the monad of Soul. And below Saturn in Aries are the planets in the fall ring; this is the monad of Body.
