A Ring View of the Second, Third, and Fourth Quadrants

The outermost ring contains the dignities of the second quadrant; the next ring (going toward the center), the dignities of the third quadrant; the innermost ring, the dignities of the fourth quadrant.

The dignities in each ring are distributed so that the rulerships are in houses 1-3, the exaltations in houses 4-6, the detriments in houses 7-9, and the falls in houses 10-12. For example, in the outermost ring, starting with houses 1-3, we have the Moon in Cancer, the Sun in Leo, and Mercury in Virgo, the rulerships of houses 4-6. Next are Jupiter in Cancer, the “empties” of Leo, and Mercury in Virgo, the exaltations of houses 4-6, etc.
