Two Streams of Soul (Universal and Individual) Meeting at the Sun in Aquarius

The top line, bracketed with the label “Universal Soul,” consists of three groups, labeled “Being,” “Life,” and “Intellect.” Reading from left to right, these are the rulership of house 9, the rulerships of houses 8 and 7, and the exaltations of houses 9 and 7.

Below this are three lines. Reading from top to bottom, these are the dignities of house 10, the dignities of house 11, and the dignities of house 12, with each line in the order rulerships, exaltations, detriments, and falls (reading from left to right).

To the right of the Sun in Aquarius (Soul detriment) is a line of planets. Reading from right to left, these are the detriments in houses 5-10, which Damiani sometimes refers to as the “Soul ring,” or “individual Soul” (whether cosmic or human).

The same planets are also listed in a vertical line above the label “Universal Soul,” except the Moon is not listed because it appears below in the column of detriments of houses 10-12.
