The Internal Structure of Each Idea as Found Paradigmatically in the Metaphysical Chart

On the left, there is a circle divided into twelve houses, where the roman numerals represent the twelve Ideas of the metaphysical chart. Each of the four quadrants is labeled with one of the four states of consciousness: turiya, prajna, taijasa, and vaishvanara.

The circle is also divided into ten sectors, each symbolizing one of the divine numbers from one to ten. The dignities of house 1 of the metaphysical chart are distributed across houses 1-3 (first quadrant); the dignities of house 2, across houses 4-6 (second quadrant); the dignities of house 3, across houses 7-9 (third quadrant); and the dignities of house 4, across houses 9-12 (fourth quadrant).

The handwritten text suggests that the left circle symbolizes the internal structure of any Idea in Being: its unity is found in the first quadrant (houses 1-3), but including the dignities of house 4 in its structure indicates that the Idea is now in Being and is not the One itself.

In Astronoesis (p. 328, fig. 151), this diagram was used to symbolize the internal structure of the Idea of Man in Being. But it seems it could also symbolize the internal structure of any Idea of the Intellectual-Principle in Being.

On the right, there is a circle divided into thirds, with the thirds labeled “Being,” “Life,” and “Intellect,” and each third is divided into four houses, numbered 1-4. The partial outer ring contains the dignities of house 1 and the rulership of house 2 of the metaphysical chart distributed across houses 1-4. In similar diagrams, this ring was completed by distributing the rest of the dignities of houses 2-4 of the metaphysical chart across houses 5-12 so the completed ring would look the same as the circle on the left, and this ring was said to represent the Idea of Man in Being.

The partial inner ring contains the dignities of house 5 of the metaphysical chart distributed across houses 1-3 and the dignities of house 6 distributed across houses 4-6 (except the last three dignities are in the outer ring, perhaps because of the handwriting in houses 5-6). In similar diagrams, this ring was completed by distributing the dignities of house 7 of the metaphysical chart across houses 7-9, and the dignities of house 8 across houses 10-12. This ring was said to represent the Idea of Man in Soul or Life. For example, see Astronoesis, p. 328, fig. 152.
