The Seven Planetary and Four Gnostic Functions in the Context of Universal Manifestation

The twelvefold circle contains seven concentric rings, one for each of the planetary spheres, arranged from a geocentric perspective. Each of the twelve houses contains the dignities found in the metaphysical chart, but unlike the latter, which arranges the dignities in four rings (rulerships, exaltations, detriments, and falls), here all the Saturn dignities are placed in the Saturn ring, all the Jupiter dignities are placed in the Jupiter ring, and so on.

Inside of these seven rings is a twelvefold circle, with the element of each of the Zodiacal signs from Aries to Pisces indicated.

On the outside of the circle are labels for three more partial rings, labeled (1) “prime mover” or “Jupiter ring,” (2) “partial soul,” or “[Dragon’s Tail] ring,” and (3) “Zodiac.”

In other diagrams similar to this, the “Jupiter ring” is filled in as follows: the dignities of houses 9-12 are distributed so that the house-9 dignities are in the first quadrant, the house-10 dignities are in the second quadrant, the house-11 dignities are in the third quadrant, and the house-12 dignities are in the fourth quadrant.

In those same diagrams, the “partial soul” ring is filled in as follows: the exaltations of houses 9-12 are distributed over the first third of the chart; the detriments of houses 9-12 are distributed over the second third of the chart, and the rulerships of houses 9-12 are distributed over the last third.

In the lower right there is a Kabbalistic tree, which arranges the seven Chaldean planets in heliocentric order, if viewed from the top down.
