The One as Fourfold and Sevenfold

The One

The ten dignities of houses 1-3 (first quadrant) are listed. The rulerships are labeled “One,” the exaltations are labeled “Being,” the detriments are labeled “Soul,” and the fall is labeled “Body.”

A second way of grouping them uses a sevenfold classification. If the ten dignities were distributed about a twelvefold circle, one to each of the first ten houses, the circle would be divided into either four or seven sectors, depending on the classification scheme, as shown in the circle at the bottom.
