System of Nature (Houses 10-12)

This twelvefold circle with four concentric rings lists the dignities of houses 10-12 of the metaphysical chart. Houses 1-12 are labeled using terms from the thirty-six tattvas of Kashmir Shaivism.

On the right, there are three Kabbalistic trees that arrange the ten dignities of houses 10-12 in different ways.

The topmost tree, labeled “Brahma Vaishvanara,” lists the dignities in six rows. Reading from top to bottom, these are rulerships (Being), rulerships (Life), exaltations (Intellect), detriments (Soul), detriments (Nature), and falls (Body).

The next tree lists the dignities in three columns: the left column consists of the dignities of house 12; the middle column, of house 11; and the right column, of house 10. The four rows correspond to rulerships, exaltations, detriments, and falls.

The next tree is almost identical to the topmost tree in the way the dignities are ordered, except the top three planets are configured slightly differently.

To the left of the circle, the text indicates that the two Mercuries in Pisces (detriment and fall) are reflections of the two Mercuries in Virgo (rulership and exaltation).
