The Dignities of the First and Second Quadrants Arranged as Kabbalistic Trees

The One and Intellectual-Principle

On the left is a vertical string of planetary glyphs that consists of the exaltations, detriments, and falls of houses 1-3 (first quadrant), bracketed with a note about the Intellectual Monad. Below that is a note about the rulerships of houses 1-3.

In the center, the ten dignities of houses 1-3 are arranged as a Kabbalistic tree. The three rulerships are labeled “Primal Triad,” and the tree is arranged vertically in the order rulerships, exaltations, detriments, and falls.

To the right of this, the ten dignities of houses 1-3 are arranged in an almost identical Kabbalistic tree, except Jupiter in Gemini and Mars in Taurus have switched places, which changes the dignities in the central column.

At the bottom, the ten dignities of houses 4-6 (second quadrant) are arranged in two different Kabbalistic trees.

In the tree on the left, the left column consists of the dignities of house 4; the central column, the dignities of house 5; and the right column, the dignities of house 6. (Note: the glyphs of the two Mercuries in Virgo are mistakenly written as the glyphs of Venus.)

In the tree on the right, the dignities are listed in six rows. Reading from top to bottom, these rows are the following: rulerships (Being), rulerships (Life), exaltations (Intellect) detriments (Soul), detriments (Nature), and falls (Body).
