The Orphic Theogony Mapped on to the Metaphysical Chart, with the Cosmic Order in Houses 9-12

The largest circle is the twelvefold metaphysical chart, with the dignities of houses 1-8 listed in implicit partial “rings.”

The Orphic theogony is mapped on to the metaphysical chart: the Primordial Triad with houses 1-3, the Noetic Triad is correlated with house 4, the Noetic-Noeric Triad with house 5, the Noeric Triad with house 6, the supercosmic order with house 7, the liberated order with house 8, and the cosmic order with houses 9-12.

There is a smaller twelvefold circle inscribed in houses 9-12. The rulerships of houses 9-12 of the metaphysical chart are distributed across houses 1-4 of the smaller circle, the exaltations of houses 9-12 across houses 5-8 (the “empties” in exaltation in house 11 are represented by the numbers 1-5) , and the detriments and falls across houses 9-12.

Each house is associated with one of the twelve mundane, or cosmic, gods. There is also a glyph for Mars next to Neptune and a glyph for the Sun next to Apollo.
