The Monads of Being, Life, Intellect, Soul, Nature, and Body Correlated with Plato's Divided Line, Three Levels of the Sun, and Three Cosmic Planes of Theosophy

Monads

This looks like a 6-column by 7-row table; however, it is better viewed as a set of columns because there is no consistency regarding what the “rows” refer to. The columns, reading from left to right, are the monads of Being, Life, Intellect, Soul, Nature, and Body, which are constituted by the Being rulerships, Life rulerships, exaltations, Soul detriments, Nature detriments, and falls, respectively.

At the top, the first three columns are bracketed as falling under the Intelligible Sun, and the last three columns are bracketed as falling under the sensible Sun.

At the bottom, the Being, Life, and Intellect columns are bracketed as falling under the Intellectual Sun (the Sun in Aries), the Soul column as falling under the “Soular sun,” and the Body column as falling under the sensible sun. These three groupings are also correlated with the three cosmic planes of Theosophy—Adi, Anupadika, and Atmic.
