The Dignities in the Detriment Ring as Receivers and Transmitters

Metaphysical Chart

This is an 8-column by 12-row table. (For ease of reference, the columns will be referred to as columns 1-8, reading from left to right, and the rows will be referred to as rows 1-12, reading from top to bottom.)

The rows are the twelve signs of the zodiac, or houses 1-12 of the metaphysical chart, bracketed by quadrant.

Column 1 is Being and Life (rulerships); column 2, Intellect (exaltations); column 3, Nature (detriments); column 4, Soul (detriments); column 5, Nature (detriments); column 6, Soul (detriments); column 7, Nature (detriments); and column 8, Body (falls).

Thus the table is another way of representing the placements of the dignities in the metaphysical chart. But not all the dignities of the chart are represented in this table, and the way the columns are set up is unconventional because there are three columns for Nature and two for Soul.

The arrows perhaps indicate the ways an exaltation informs one or more Soul detriments (e.g. Jupiter in Cancer to Saturn in Cancer), the ways Nature detriments inform Soul detriments (e.g., Venus in Aries and Mars in Taurus to Jupiter in Gemini), the way Soul detriments inform Nature detriments (e.g., Jupiter in Gemini to Saturn in Cancer), and the way the lowest Nature detriment informs all the falls (Mercury in Pisces to all the planets in column 8).
