Twofold Zeus and His Activity in the Fourth Quadrant

Twofold Zeus

The horizontal line of planetary glyphs consists of the eleven dignities of houses 7-9 (third quadrant). The Pars Fortuna, the exaltation in house 8, is added to the usual ten dignities. They are listed, from left to right, in the order rulerships, exaltations, detriments, and falls.

The rulerships and exaltations are bracketed with the label “Absolute Soul” and the detriments and falls with the label “Individual Soul.”

Below Jupiter in Sagittarius are the two signs in which Jupiter is in dignity in the fourth quadrant, and below Saturn in Libra are the two signs in which Saturn is in dignity in the fourth quadrant.

Venus, “the empties,” and Mars, which are also listed below the dignities of the third quadrant are the three exaltations in the fourth quadrant.

The planets above the three detriments in houses 7-9 are the planets in the detriment ring in houses 3-6, with the Nature detriments in parentheses.

The planets below the three detriments in houses 7-9 are as follows: under Mars in Libra are the rulerships of houses 9-12, under Venus in Scorpio are the detriments of houses 9-12 (Jupiter seems to be listed in error), and under Mercury in Sagittarius are the exaltations of houses 9-12.

The next row below these are the three detriments of houses 10-12, and below this is Mercury in Pisces (in fall in house 12).
