The ten dignities of houses 1-3 (first quadrant) are listed in the order rulerships, exaltations, detriments, and falls. The signs beneath the three rulerships are the other signs in which that planet is in dignity. The signs are listed in the order rulership, exaltation, detriment (Soul), detriment (Nature), and fall. These dignities, together with the first-quadrant dignity, constitute the henad of that planet.
