The Orphic Theogony Mapped on to the Metaphysical Chart

The twelvefold circle exhibits the rulerships, exaltations, and detriments of houses 1-12, but the falls are shown only for houses 10 and 12.

The gods of the Orphic theogony are mapped on to houses 4-12 in a variety of ways: The Noetic Triad is mapped onto the rulership ring in the second quadrant, the Noetic-Noeric Triad is mapped on to the exaltation ring in the second quadrant, the Noeric Triad is mapped on to the detriment ring of the second quadrant, and the supercosmic order is mapped on to the third quadrant.

The Sun in Aquarius (in detriment in house 11) is at the center of a twelvefold circle, and each of the twelve liberated gods is associated with one of its houses. But the liberated gods are also correlated with houses 10 and 11, which are labeled as the “Jovian monad” and the “Jupiter monad.” Note that in the Orphic theogony as presented by G. R. S Mead, the liberated order is comprised of the Jovian monad and the Vestan monad, not the Jovian monad and the Jupiter monad (which are synonymous).

The twelve mundane, or cosmic, gods are mapped on to the three levels of house 12, where the inerratic sphere is associated with Jupiter (rulership), the planetary spheres with Venus (exaltation), and the sublunary sphere with the two Mercuries (detriment and fall).
