One degree -- many levels of meaning.

Pluto -- ruler of subtle images below consciousness. Structure of imagery. Reorganizes subtle structure and flow of images from "underneath".

Pluto and Neptune concerned with this area before Jupiter can get to work and make a whole of you.

First psychic -- my activity -- thinking.

Second psychic -- objective content -- thought.

Dove = holy ghost -- makes available transcendental truths.

Sun Venus Mercury involved in conveying meaning to all organisms.

3-forms are a reflection of Absolute Consciousness in second circle, lying behind our consciousness. More primordial than archetypal realm. Reflected consciousness - chidabhasa.

Thinking is primordial.

Thinking Willing Feeling -- (paragraph 610, Structure and Dynamics) [Note: C.G. Jung, CW 8, The Structure and Dynamics of the Psyche, "Spirit and Life".] Reproduction of psychic processes as images -- personal (individual experience) -- in these forms.

3-mode (not functions) always operating (not in Jung).

Forms of our experience?

Functions are an individual activity based on a primary substance.

Each planet would image and project the archetype in a different way.

Previous to thinking and perception is observation -- observation of thinking or perception. In our experience we do not have it by itself.

As soon as you think → perceived world - a content.

Twelfth house -- passive thinking -- subjective, subconscious disposition. A priori. A particular past - fixed. Manifest through first house. Jupiter -- it is as a whole.

First [house] - Mars - tears that whole apart.

Introverted thinking -- you are aware of your twelfth house assumptions.

Extraverted thinking -- not conscious with what is behind, but in front.

Twelfth house -- characterological disposition -- karma to be worked out in this life -- already determined. Try to get to the meaning of your reaction to the object, not the object.

Planet = activity.

Twelfth house planet means flow of activity, libido towards twelfth house, introverted.

Tony [Anthony Damiani (AD)] -- thinking is not apperceptive -- apperception takes place within you.

The separation of me from the world is felt -- in feeling, but not in knowledge (thinking). In knowledge it is "all one", you and that world.

Christ impulse -- tendency of man to become an individual in his own right -- birth of individual -- the anima -- through the descent of feeling comes the individual (our definition of individual). Thinking is impersonal -- feeling personal. Emotions don't have as individual a character. Thinking contaminated with anima is "my" thinking. Jung's thinking refers to that precipitated subject which is a bias towards the anima function.

The peculiarity of our times is the descent of the anima -- "fall of man" [Note: There is an arrow from above paragraph to this phrase.] -- elevation of Virgin Mary into a dogma.

Anima is meaning for many of us because it is the presupposition of our thinking.

Thinking can incorporate all or none of the archetypes.

Mercury (opposite Jupiter) -- translates Jupiter's wholes into particulars.

Jupiter = intuition

Mars -- tears concept and experience.

Aries -- emphasis on conceptual forces -- applies it to extraversion.

First house -- experience without a concept.

[Aries + first house =] extraverted thinking.

Perception and thinking are almost simultaneous.

Thinking and thoughts are really one but split apart.

Transiting Saturn realigns you with that world content which you are supposed to be functioning according to.

Saturn -- first house -- world given with concepts hidden.

Saturn -- tenth house -- thinking realigned with that world content.

Thinking is always with a content (perception).

Sensations -- subjective pole of perception -- body, Moon.

Feeling -- also subjective and contingent.
