Four departments:

1) Physical

a) Life -- Sun, Moon

b) Circumstance -- Mercury, Venus, Mars

2) Non-physical

a) Soul -- Saturn, Jupiter

b) Social place -- Uranus, Neptune, Pluto

Ascendant -- organized contents of the being -- unconscious thought content which will later manifest. Ascendant is a time clock which governs its manifestation.

Ascendant = archetype of the organization of experience -- incoming of past karma.

The way the relation of two archetypes (planets) manifests circumstantially in a series of events.

A part is in reflective consciousness, or psyche, not substantially (in soul).

People who are differentially substantially may psychically have the same experience.

Meaning of part is generated by ascendant and ratio of planets -- sign of planets doesn't matter.

In Gemini, concern is with ideal embedded in that substance. The part objectifies that ideality in terms of a concrete reality -- the perception is of an ideal reality, of what was previously circumstantial.

Objective ideality is the same for prince or pauper (substance doesn't matter).

Parts = possible intellect in a latent state.

All we really deal with are images or ideals. In the matter or circumstance the ideals are evolved out.

Parts determine what concepts you will form out of your experience.

Planets without houses = a conditioned substance -- the thought before it manifests --

Parts = Psychical experience of those thoughts as they manifest.

Part = developing a form of psychical differentiation.

The greater the differentiation, the greater the release.

Saturn Jupiter conjunct in natal -- enormous responsibilities ahead for a person.

Jupiter = archetype of life -- the movement that the psyche has.

The way the cosmic forces of the planets manifest in the particulars is through the parts.

Parts = specificity of the individual's experience.
