Salt―Sulfur―Mercury are derived from 4 elements.

Elements, through the virtue of 'celestial' influences, produce all things.

[Earth] -- Receptacle of all elements, receptive. Contains [Fire] inwardly. Cold and dry, concealment and manifestation, contains [Fire Air Water] latently. =  [Pisces], pre-Adamic earth -- residue of activity of a universe is retained during pralaya by this earth -- universal alkahest.

The earth tanmatra (= smell or compactness) is the basis for the production of the bhutas = life ether, vegetative principle.

Living silver = your bloodstream.

The images in the blood are objectified through the nervous system -- cutting this objectification is the first step.
