Sarvastivadin can't account for fact of how after trance (Nirvikalpa), where the biotic energy unifying the dharma stream is broken, the identity with it is reassumed.

Problem faced by Yogacara -- if all objects are projections of a creative consciousness, where do the laws which govern that projection reside? Are they given to consciousness or inherent in it. If they are within consciousness, consciousness is not pure. If without, then idealism is violated.
