Astral body = imagination

p. 38 -- vapor = astral as inserted in blood = a substantiation of imagination, is a quickener or enlivener. Blood contains the images. Anything that lives has an astral body which is immanent in its blood. [Note: AB remembers the reference as a xerox that had Synesius' On Dreams as a chapter in it.]

Etheric (universal life) and kama rupa are in the blood.

Astral as operative = common sense.

Astral body is the sensible (individual is behind and in the world).

How is it that the impressions the astral has within it can be valid? (response to question of why astral is limited to physical orb -- poke out my eye) -- it is ordered by a higher principle.
