The 'mystical meeting point' is the body, where the World-Soul meets the Overself -- the body is where they conjoin.

The Overself functioning in the body = finite self.

Paragraph 9 -- 'personal consciousness' includes Overself consciousness -- the Overself is its consciousness.

World-Mind here is as Intellectual-Principle, not World-Soul.

Overself can go beyond World-Mind (cf. Plotinus), but not in terms of ontology -- even when you are in union with the One, you come out of it and are still soul.

Technically, it is the principle of soul (Saturn in Leo) that breaks itself up into individual souls (Overselves) and not World-Mind (Nous). PB does not make this distinction.

Paragraphs 10 and 11 -- my Overself is distinct from yours -- Overself is plural, not singular (AD disagrees with PB). [Note: AD is Anthony Damiani.]

Each Overself grasping the Idea of Man in its own way → a historical series associated with it.

Thus it is not just the historical series which distinguishes each Overself but a prior act.

Overself is fabricative as well as gnostic.

Memory-trace within Overself is its knowledge of Idea of Man -- which it projects as the personality. What the personality experiences that is in conformity with that Idea of Man (which it contains) it then re-assimilates or learns (re-members).

The World-Mind is the Intellectual paradigm or archetype of the cosmos.

Psalm 23 -- the Lord is my shepherd = Overself, not World-Mind -- first you pray to your Overself, then after you reach it you can pray to World-Mind.

As gnostic all Overselves are identical -- there is one Overself.

As fabricative each Overself is different because it projects a different historical series.

The receptacle of all activity (experience) is the cosmic soul, and the Overself only assimilates those in accord with its idea.

All your prior experience (not only what the Overself extracts) determines the body or vehicles the Overself will inhabit, however. The Overself's experience is then tainted by the tendencies within that vehicle.

Most of us succumb to the vasanas in that body.
