PARTS

* There is a) the aspect pattern, the picture of the Earth Soul within the Cosmic Soul. Additionally there is the individual's house structure, especially the ascendant. Then b) the aspect pattern of the planet imposed on the ascendant gives the set of parts for each planet.

Since the planetary spheres are the image of the higher Soul powers, it's through the association with the cosmos that the higher Soul gets individuated.

* These are the possibilities of the relation between the World Soul and the individual Soul:

a) at first you participate through the World Soul's power,

b) the individual Soul will be brought into conformity with the World Soul,

c) this represents the structure of the vehicles, sthula, etc. (to bring in the organized body, to bring in the Soul powers we need the parts, and have the Soul powers interpret those powers),

d) In the natal chart the aspect pattern of each of the planets reflects an individual Soul power, as well as the Cosmic Soul's soul power. (This aspect pattern of parts is like your own personal grid, the structure of your psyche).

* There are three different levels of meaning to the Soul powers:

a) the Earth's Soul powers

b) the set of vehicles, sthula, linga, kama rupa, prana = organized body.

c) the reflected soul powers that go with those like self-apperception etc.

* An aspect, say Saturn square Jupiter, appears as part of the Saturn parts and part of the Jupiter parts.

One part indicates a modification of the organized body; the other represents the light of the Soul; each is a specific part of the couplement.

Or the direct and indirect parts are the fabricative series and gnostic series, substance and function…

* "Reason is occupied in turn with the outer and the inner…"

The part reconciles an inner meaning within an outer perception. The outer and the image are the subjective pole = the subject can be colored in seven different ways = each planet can function as a subject.

The Earth Soul is the World Soul's function through seven vehicles.

* What does the aspect pattern represent?

1) The aspect pattern represents the structure; the parts represent the meanings.

2) Both of these are involved with the parts (one planet is the structure of the vehicle; the other the Soul power), coordinated by the angle pattern, the Earth Soul's association with the Reason Principles.

3) The angle pattern actually represents the potentials in your Soul.

The angular relation between the planets indicates the relations or meanings with which the individual incarnates--and gives an indication of the level of the Soul.

The individual angle pattern is placed in the houses, and it's an individual potential which the parts unfold.

* Another two possibilities concerning aspects:

1) The natal aspects are as a cosmic event; the individual Soul evolves through the parts.

2) The aspect represents the power of the Soul evolving in relation to the Earth. The parts refer to the images. (For in their mundane interpretation, the parts refer to specific mundane images, like the part of olive oil, etc.)

* The planet represents the unembodied powers of the Soul. -- They are the powers of the Soul, not the ideas in the Soul. The angular structure is presupposing the Nous that is operating with those angular relationships. You are going to assimilate these ideas from the Nous.

* Your Saturn is working with six very specific ideas (its six parts), the meanings that the Saturn will unfold. The perception of Saturn is with those six ideas from the Nous.

A planet sitting on a degree will work with an idea in the Nous. The culmination of what that planet wants to manifest will require the entirety of a life. The ultimate result of the function of all seven planets is to manifest those seven degrees that they're on natally.

* The powers of your Soul are employing the ideas from within the Nous to produce the manifested double here. The aspects, i.e. the angular relationships are coordinating the timing. Time is the relations in the manifestation of those meanings. The relationship between the ideas and [Typist thinks: 'in', not 'and'] the Nous and the powers in the Soul is the representation of meaning.

* The KWFS [knowing willing feeling sensing] (of Saturn) is what manifests the particular object of form. The form is invariable. The person or form that is fabricated is an invariable, concomitant with the planet's functioning.

Following this schema, the parts have to be thought of as the personal embodiment of the Soul's functioning: i.e., the parts have to be fabricative.

* Concept/Percept

The outer should deal with circumstances; the inner should deal with meaning. But it seems the indirect part always falls in the outer half.

* The Life of Saturn is not like the Life of Jupiter.

The Saturn of Jupiter is like the space your life is given to operate with. The five Skandhas--the functioning of the gnostic faculties results in the perception we have, i.e., the form or Rupa Skandha.

With the instantiation of ideas, there are the conception or perception in an objective relation. Sometimes there is one but not the other. In a similar way, the cosmocrators are the agent and the vehicle.

* The Rupa is projected from the ascendant. To localize an object you have to give it a space and time, which are both necessary for a perception of an object. Form is included in the other four gnostic faculties, KWFS.

* When you say "instantiation", you are putting these things in time and space. But the Soul faculties themselves are not in time and space, they fabricate time and space.

* Concept/Percept are both objective. The aspect breaks up into a concept and percept, the direct and indirect parts. The percept is like the other [Typist thinks: 'outer', not 'other']; the concept is the inner.
