Astronoesis; Idea of Man

[JF Notes Begin]

The Idea of Man includes the whole of [the] evolutionary process, is guiding the development of this stream of life, and we haven't reached the fullness of the Idea of Man.

S: It's not that it has evolved from the amoeba, etc., but it includes them.

Through the vibratory stream of life it gets developed by the Idea of Man.

S: Does the Idea of Man come in through the World-Idea, or not?

This Idea of Man is a permanent possibility in the intellectual, and the Unit Soul identifies itself with this Idea of Man, and the whole series of vehicles which will try to evolve it.

Two Souls, emanants: The pure Soul can't develop, the awareness can't change. [The] emanation from that [is] going (from) some kind of development.

The development of that emanant Soul has to be structured by something -- it is for human Souls the Idea of Man, but for other souls [the structuring principle] could be something else.

It's what guides the whole development of this fragment of life, will guide it in its development through the conjunction with all these vehicles.

The Idea of Man is in the Soul, and also part of the World-Idea. From our point of view it's temporal, but when the Idea of Man is accomplished, it's all at once.

The I-AM or pure awareness doesn't change (or evolve) but something emanated from it does it: levels of consciousness.

Not that the Ideas are being brought out, but the Soul's Life is being manifested.

It's not not the Ideas-- it's the Living Ideas, the living out of the Ideas.

An Idea does not need to unfold itself to be complete, but the Soul does.

The very image is its--Soul's--understanding, of the Nous. It holds this knowledge as this (tentatively created other).
