• These pages are from the Astronoesis Master, One section, pp. O41, O52. They covered a concept that wasn't included in the published Astronoesis, although they are related to the discussion of Number in the Intellectual-Principle chapter, pp. 104-9.

• These pages (essay fragments) have been studied in the Astronoesis class, whenever we revisit the Intellectual-Principle chapter.

• Rulerships and Exaltations (1st and 2nd rings: Being and Intellect rings) are the traditional astrological dignities – Detriments and Falls in the 3rd and 4th rings are derivative from them. Most astrologers only use Rulerships and Exaltations. Anthony generally used all four dignities in his metaphysical chart symbolization but considered the Rulerships, Exaltations most important.

The Divine Numbers I through XII are placed around the circumference of the circle to indicate the manner in which they coordinate the unmanifest intelligible substances (signs) with their predominant expressive activities (as symbolized by the Dignities). The Ideas and the first two rings represent the Intellectual Principle, the third ring is soul and the fourth is body. This explicit display of the Divine Mind's internal structure is prefigured in the third House of the meta-ontic chart where:

Mercurius prefigures Ideas

Head = Numbers which coordinate Ideas and Intelligibles

Jupiter = Intelligible Powers

(Note: amplify 3rd House meaning)

To diagrammatically review this section on the one-manyness of the Intellectual-Principle we will begin by reminding the reader that the Ideas, Numbers and intelligibles are superessentially prefigured in the third House Idea. If we now list the unitary Consciousness (Intelligence) as the substantial side of the Intellectual-Principle, and the corresponding dignities as the self-gnostic power of Being and Life and Intellect, we can coordinate this totality as a One-Many which is presided over by number.
