The Vedantic analysis is from within the point of view of manas, therefore difference is impossible; since all experience is within manas, it is a whole.

The Nyaya attempts to stand outside of manas and develop an objective philosophy.

Within the content of knowledge (as distinguished from the knowing), you can establish distinction but from the standpoint of knowing it is homogenous.
