Reflecting consciousness of man endows his life with meaning, is the stage on which our psychic life unfolds.

Has 3 aspects: willing, feeling (emotion), knowing -- modes through which consciousness relates to external world. Each has 4 aspects.

4 different ways of knowing an object: [Note: Numbering below relates to diagram above.]

1) Dot -- Intuition

2) Line -- Dianoia

3) Surface -- Opinion

4) Cube -- Sensation

We don't see the Gods because we permit them to transform themselves into the vehicles of our reflective consciousness.

5 cosmic skandhas (or nidanas) -- are put together into a whole (aggregate) in Sagittarius which constitutes the personality.

1 -- 1st quadrant of nidana chain

3 -- 2nd quadrant of nidana chain

4 -- 4th quadrant of nidana chain

5 -- 3rd quadrant of nidana chain

AD -- The hidden meaning of the nidana chain has been lost.

Sun in 3rd quadrant (causal intellect of universe) shines through fixed stars.

4-fold aspects of feeling have been covered in discussion of emotion.

Daemon = totality of 3 modes and their content and the way they function -- the school you live in and learn from = your reflective apparatus as constituted by reason productive principles = guardian, tutelary spirit (reflective apparatus ˂not used psychologically˃ = vesica).

Knowing -- 4 aspects:

Sagittarius -- Final

Willing -- Capricorn -- Material -- indeterminate cognition

Feeling -- Aquarius -- Essential

Knowing -- Pisces -- Instrumental (Efficient) -- determinate cognition, reflective = apperception, not reflective consciousness. Reflective consciousness produces the determinate cognition.

The determinate cognition excludes all functioning of lower manas -- all concepts are excluded from pure presentation -- primordial image. Reflective consciousness or recognition involves concepts. Manas reveals indeterminate as determinate in Pisces. What is determined is determined by the very nature of the organ which presents it which is without concepts (the concepts are superimposed or added by reflective consciousness). The vehicles are reflecting what is going on.

The final cause of knowledge is your own psychical essence. What we know is really ourselves =
