APPENDIX: GNOSTIC AND FABRICATIVE: THE GRID

The Gnostic Planets are the Chaldean Planets in their traditional dignities: Rulership, Exaltation, Detriment, Fall: the planets as they appear in AD's Metaphysical Chart. (See AD's Astronoesis, p. 53 Fig. 12 and p. 110 Fig. 44 for illustrations of the Metaphysical Chart with its dignities.)
The Fabricative Planets are the Chaldean Planets not in Dignity, those which do not appear in the Metaphysical Chart, for instance: Moon, Mercury, Jupiter in Aries; Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn in Taurus; and so on.
What he called "The Grid" is the combined matrix of Gnostic and Fabricative in / as the Mercury Pisces Nature, the intersection of the Soul Ring (function) and Pisces (substance).
The digital diagram below reconstructs one way Anthony Damiani drew "The Grid" in relation to the cosmos.
Horizontally, the Gnostic Stream or planets as functional is rooted in the Soul Ring planets, specifically the Pure Soul powers, from Saturn in Leo around through the Sun in Aquarius. (See Astronoesis, p. 191 Fig. 85 and p. 267 Fig. 115 for diagrams of the Soul Power planets.) At the end of the Soul Ring, the Mercury Pisces Nature appears as the Grid.
Vertically, the Fabricative Stream is seen in the Pisces levels. (See also Astronoesis p. 241 and p. 246 Fig. 103 for diagrams.)
Jupiter in Pisces, at the Rulership level, the unifying Life of Universal Soul, organizes the chaos of the elements into qualitied or directionalized space.
Venus in Pisces Exaltation, Intellect Ring, represents the Inerratic, the realm of the fixed stars, the Ideas or Logoi (reason-principles) in the fixed stars, sidereal zodiac.
The level of the Mercury Pisces Nature, Soul/Detriment Ring, is the planetary (spheres) reasoning or psychical level, the level of the tropical zodiac. From this level (see the four vertical curved arrows), the Substantial ideas of (coming from) the fixed stars are expressed through the Fabricative Planets of the Grid, where they interface with the Gnostic Planets.
The Fabricative is ultimately expressed in the Mercury Pisces Body, Body/Falls Ring, the realm of the four elements: the Sublunary world.
In the Grid --the Mercury Pisces Nature-- there is a weaving or interfacing of the Gnostic Dignified planets as found in their respective rings: Rulership, Exaltation, Detriment, Fall; and the Fabricative Non-Dignity planets as found in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Quadrants. So that, in this diagram of "The Grid," the Rulership Ring Gnostic planets map to the 1st Quadrant Fabricative Planets, i.e., those non-dignities in Aries, Taurus, Gemini.
Note the dotted line connection between the Life Jupiter in Pisces and the Being Jupiter in Sagittarius -- ruler of the System of Nature. Also note the connection between, in Sagittarius, the Jupiter in Sagittarius rulership and the Mercury in Sagittarius detriment as a Pure Soul Power.

There are approximately three dozen WG classes or seminars that are entirely or partially on Gnostic-Fabricative "Dignities and Non-Dignities" and the Grid, or have significant mention of this topic. Many are labeled Soul or Nature, but some are classes on Astrology and Astronomy (two Zodiacs) or Physics ("force fields"). The most important ones are in October through early November 1981. However, Anthony was working on this concept throughout 1981, and into 1982, with mentions of it in 1983.
The Appendix "Gnostic and Fabricative: The Grid" is based mainly on JF's class notes, some of which were typed into the "partial transcripts" for which PDF SCANS exist.

When the 12th H. individual thinks, is he thinking from within his own soul, or from within the World Soul?
Plotinus states that the individual's thinking is his own. However, his body is from the production of the World Soul. [Note: See Plotinus, V.3.3, second to last para.]
* In the 12th House grid is the body of the Cosmic Soul. This body of the Cosmic Soul is Earth--"Gaia"--which is more than just the planet.
Saturn indicates what's going on in the body of the Cosmic Soul, the self-apperception of the body of the Cosmic Soul.
Jupiter would represent the libidinal energy of that Cosmic Soul, etc.
If there's an aspect in the cosmic body, say Saturn square Jupiter, the individual participates in it. This aspect is seen from the point of view of the Earth. Therefore our premises is to identify with the Earth's body.
* HELIOCENTRIC VS. GEOCENTRIC VIEWS
The heliocentric view refers to the chart of the solar system. The geocentric view refers to the chart of the Earth.
Therefore the Sun would be like the heart of the solar system, the distribution of life into its body.

In the example of Saturn square Jupiter, Saturn works in the cardinal signs for the gnostic functions. Therefore in the geocentric view Saturn would be participating in the gnostic functions of the Soul of the Earth.
Plotinus: We have put ourselves so much in touch with the aspects, or in other words with the body of the Cosmic Soul, that they reveal our inner condition. Our inner soul's production is participating in the Cosmic Soul's production, which is why Saturn square Mars is a bad aspect. [Note: Possible reference to Plotinus, II.3.9, second para.]
* The NATAL CHART represents how the organism has been structuralized in its first moment, in that of its first breath. This imprinting (of the aspects of the first moment) stamps itself on the mind that works through the individual's brain. At the time of the first breath of the organism, the qualities of all 7 levels at that moment are imprinted on that organism.
The gnostic functions of the soul are interpreting the living systems in the body. These gnostic functions are the direct effects of the Earth's experiencing of its aspects.
The individual soul interprets the aspects, but the real gnostic functions of the soul do not belong to the psychology.
The soul reads off the modifications of the body, (produced by the Earth Soul), through the individual soul's own gnostic functions.
Only the fabricative aspect is transmitted from the Earth Side.
* The individual soul's gnostic functions come into the grid to understand the Idea of Man in Soul. What is fabricative about the soul? The fabricative function of the soul is the building up of images, the psychology.

The individual soul powers functions [sic] are inserted into body. This combination gives us the psycho-somatic being.
Since the grid functioning takes place in the 12th House, the planets (in the grid) are the cosmocrators, which only produce bodies.
Therefore there is no gnostic functioning in the grid until the individual soul is inserted. Thus the two sets of soul powers, of objective and subjective soul, are complementary.
* The Cosmic Soul fabricates and knows that it fabricates. It organizes matter into a body. The body is a combination of living systems. For example Venus is the kidney system, etc.
The soul can read off the functioning of its organs, but not matter per se.
"The soul is a psychic-animated organism."
* To operate directly off the grid the soul must eliminate the psychology, the reproductive imagination. The less it interferes, the more the individual soul knows of the functioning of the Earth Soul.
