CONNECTION OF THE GRID TO THE 27 HINDU LUNAR MANSIONS

In each quadrant, there are 9 gnostic planets and 12 fabricative ones (excluding Mercury Mercury Virgo Pisces).

We can relate this grid to Hindu astrology in the following manner:

The Hindus' 27 or 28 houses are derived from the mean motion of the Moon.

It's 27 divisions (days) from 0° Aries to 0° Taurus, or 28 divisions New Moon to New Moon. 27 days is the sidereal moon cycle and 29 days is the actual cycle from New Moon to New Moon.

27 Houses is 13½° divided into the zodiac.

Those 27 (28) divisions have traditionally started at different fixed stars, which roughly correspond to 1° Sagittarius, 1° Aries, 1° Leo.

The Hindus, and also M.P. Hall, claim the 27 or 28 house divisions are from Vedic times.

The derivation of the 9-fold from the 27-fold:

27÷12 = 2¼, so Aries (or any of our houses) has 2¼ lunar mansions. If we start at 1° Aries, the lunar and solar methods have whole divisions at the beginning of Aries, Leo, Sagittarius.

The least common denominator of 27 and 12 is 108, in which each of the 27 has 4 divisions, and each of the 12 has 9 divisions. 12 x 9 = 108. By this method Hindu "Aries" has 4 divisions, Western Aries has 9.

So 108 is the smallest number of divisions required to make both the lunar and solar houses match up at the beginnings of each sign.

In each quadrant the 7 planets' pattern is similar to that of the rulerships, in which 5 planets have a double fabricative, and 2 have only one.
