THE PARTS AS UNITIES

If, for example, Saturn is taken as a unity, and is broken down into B L I S N B [Being Life Intellect Soul Nature Body], there are 6 different relations or aspects to Saturn, or 6 different parts to Saturn (using the Chaldean planets). There are 2 modes of Saturn's parts, the way it appears within the other planets' view and the way it appears to itself. Or, in other terminology, Saturn is the leader of the Saturn series, and leader of the Body series. Each of the planets is a unity, and each planet represents an unfoldment or determination of that unity or wholeness (in a person).

There are two ways of unfolding the unities:

1) The Head coordinates the intelligibles and the Ideas. The unities would be associated with certain Ideas and essentialize those Ideas, as the dignities get assigned to the Ideas.

2) As the Reason Principle is being unfolded, as the intelligibles are being assigned to the Ideas, the unities are being unfolded in terms of Ideas.

The Head is coordinating the function and substance, the unities and the intelligibles, and how the unities will unfold in terms of substance and function both.

Saturn is the unfoldment of the Saturn series per se. However, in the unfoldment of the Saturn Body monad, Mars is more important in manifesting the Cancer Idea, Venus the Virgo Idea, etc.

The inherent structure of the TRIAD itself determines how these unities will unfold -- all the unities are combined through the Head.

Mars in Cancer in the Body monad unfolds the idea of Mars, but it is part of the Saturn in Cancer series Mars → Saturn.

Related to the picture of the parts, the original "cookie cutter" of the planetary structure stays the same, for it's like the structure of your unities, how these (things) get unfolded for you.

Out of this cookie cutter picture, we get a) the parts (direct and indirect) and b) all the aspects.

As the intelligibles which show how the Ideas will manifest, the parts relate to the symbols or degrees that are being manifested.

As the Head associates the Ideas with the intelligible functions, so the ascendent coordinates the aspects (or intelligibles) with the planetary functions.

There's a set of aspects and a set of parts. For instance:

There are: [1] Aspects; [2] Direct parts; [3] Indirect parts as images -- How do these relate to the unities? Does, for instance with Saturn, the Saturn per se series and the Saturn Body monad series refer to the direct and indirect parts respectively? Or are these 2 series analogous to the aspects (per se series) and the direct (gnostic planets) and indirect (fabricative planets) parts (Body monad)?

Put Saturn on the ascendant to see where the other 6 planets are (direct parts) and then put the other planet on the ascendant to see where Saturn lies (indirect parts). This is analogous to the Saturn series per se (direct parts) and the Body monad (indirect parts). The indirect parts are like a Saturn under all the other ideas.

Here the ascendant is the coordinator of the parts, and the part of a planet to itself is the ascendant (it is its self-identity or unity).

The unities are an unfoldment of the Intellectual Principle, and the angle scheme is like the actualization of it, as the association with certain ideas or degrees.

The ascendant is the meaning of time as coordinator, as the [Head] brings in the meaning of Number as coordinator. In this way, Number becomes time. Time is coordinating the Reason Principles within you, at a certain time.

If there is no aspect between planets, the meaning of their part is more difficult to ascertain, because there is no association between them.

The aspect patterns are the way the Head distributes the whole grid. We tried to determine the relation of BLISNB, the Triad to the parts.

Example: Mars fall Cancer Body are part of the Mars series. Mars manifesting the Idea of 4-fold Being, and 4-fold Being bringing something out of Mars. The Saturn → Mars parts means what Saturn Mars in Cancer means archetypally.

This brings us to the question of time and Number. Number coordinates the inner structure of the intelligibles. In the chart time coordinates how each of these functions gets unfolded, in which order. It is the unfoldment of the planet's function or an unfoldment of the meanings contained in your Soul. The ascendant acts as that zero point in time where the whole process starts for each of these planets.

As the intelligibles apply to the Head, so they apply in the chart as unities unfolding the Body monad of Saturn.
