The Sabian symbols represent the traces of the activity of that life left behind in the common sensorium of the Earth.

All this is at the level of the element Earth.

The 360° are structuring the living systems; to get at the degree meaning is to get at the causal.

It takes all 360° to organize all 12 life systems into a unit creature. These 12 life systems are the etheric forces of the individual.

(The inerratic, 360°) uses those tropes, and by combining those tropes in a certain way, it reveals itself.

The 360° are one, i.e., are a unity, and all of them have to work in that subtle realm (tropes). They organize those tropes into a unified creature, and reveal themselves through that creature. --The intuition you must trace back to the degrees. The quantization (in serial order) etc, only occurs in manifestation.

The alchemists' Reason Principles or Sophia buries itself in matter, and there the light has to release itself from the matter.

It organizes the tropes differently for each species or each genus. Probably the 360° are organized one way for a man and another way for a horse.

? On this level, what distinguishes one man from another? In both men all 360° are operative. The set of 7 meanings (degrees with planets) that you operate with is what distinguishes you from other persons, the way the 360° are organized by you. Not all degrees are operative, but the ones prominent in your mental set are those determined by the planets and the parts. This is at the level of sensing (i.e., the degrees are operating in your intelligence), not body.

1st--unio mentalis thinking (air) & feeling (water) Uranus

2nd-- thinking & feeling with sensation (earth) Pluto

3rd--unus mundus thinking, feeling, sensation with volition (fire) Neptune

Out of the 3 comes a 4 comes a 1 (i.e., an individual, a sage). (Alchemical formula).
