Our interest [is in the] archetype [archetypal] or imaginal dimensions of astrology -- the whole web of interrelated archetypal images underlying our world, and these are a doorway into the mundus imaginalis[,] as are dreams and mythologies. The astrological archetypes somewhat between the two. Dreams reveal more the individual relevance of an archetypal pattern or image at a given moment, and myth* shows the archetypal patterns in their own world[,] whereas consulting astrology enables us to connect with the archetypal patterns underlying any specific situation in time. The link of imaginal elements with each other emphasizes qualitative associations[.] The linear connections constrain or order them by time and causality.
