2 = the thoughts you try to get rid of in meditation.

Aspects determine the ways the ideas are understood, i.e., the way you experience the dragon (objective) or how the I-thought is experienced as knowing, willing or feeling.

In a septile, knowing, willing or feeling are brought into relationship but not unified. Degree defines the content of the function as knowing, willing, feeling.

Level 1) Two functions or degrees are related through their embodiment in the elements (12 major aspects are based on aspects).

2) Two functions or degrees are related through the pranas (÷5).

3) Septile doesn't relate whole number degrees -- (360° ÷ 7 gives fractional numbers) -- provides a notion of 360° as a continuity.

3-fold -- The individual mind can create the World-Idea as knowing, willing or feeling.

7-fold is an elaboration of the 3-fold. 7-fold elaborates what is received (according to the 3-fold) into a manifestation.

3-fold = the way you identify with the intellectuality of the Earth Soul.

The trans-Saturnians predetermine your view of reality. Trans-Saturnian degrees (as unaspected or pure) are at some level as septile (spiritual subjectivity).

Blending of two planets in an aspect might confuse their functioning -- i.e., Jung's Uranus septile Neptune made it hard for him to separate an evaluative and cognitive mode of the psyche -- i.e., no difference between psychology and philosophy for him.

Final effect of 7-fold is bodily as 3-fold.

Number (or aspects) is what coordinates substance (bodily, psychic, spiritual) and function (planets).

Chaldean septile Chaldean -- the septile meaning came out through its embodiment (Jupiter septile Mercury, Jung -- he had a fixed idea that there was meaning in abnormal communication of psychotics) or the idea can create the substance for its embodiment. [Note: Jupiter, Libra 24, "A marvelously colored and figured butterfly is spread before the eyes; on its left side is an extra and third wing." Mercury, Cancer 14, "A very old man, whose feebleness adds strangely to his dignity, stands alone facing a vast dark space to the northeast."]
