Birth date -- 3/18/1844: This is a different chart than Jones. [Note: March 18th Gregorian calendar, March 6th Julian calendar.]

The Neptune gives him an absolute independence. [Note: Aquarius 23, "A big trained bear sitting on a chair especially built for him is waving all four paws in grotesque fashion." Keyword is APTITUDE.]

SUN: scientist adjusts prism, makes his clever analysis, validation. [Note: Pisces 29, "The scientist adjusts the tiny prism carefully and by means of the divided rays of light makes his clever analysis." Keyword is VALIDATION.]

Opposite degree: archeologist deciphering an archaic manuscript, traditional knowledge. [Note: Virgo 29, "A scholar has just succeeded in deciphering an archaic manuscript; it holds an idea for which he has long sought." Keyword is DISCOVERY.]

Feelings brought into his intellect from opposite degree. From the point of view of the Sun, it was the history, not the music that mattered.

MERCURY: group of men seeking illumination, dedication. This degree responsible for giving him a fixed inner vision. 6th house: always going over the point. [Note: Pisces 11, "A group of serious-eyed, earnest-faced men are seeking illumination and are conducted into a massive sanctuary." Keyword is DEDICATION.]

Opposite degree: a boy, idealization of his mother, exaction. [Note: Virgo 11, "A beautiful boy is revealed; he is all boy in every way, but in him lives too the idealization of a wise mother." KEYWORD is EXACTION.]
